About Meet A Mate

A dynamic duo, Eva and Sherry Singer are matchmakers who work from the heart. Their personal philosophy includes a strong reverence for the influence of fate. They believe that they were destined to be matchmakers.

The mother and daughter team has been introducing attractive, quality, educated professionals for over 21 years, and they have made more than 475 marriages and thousands of relationships.

The Singers offer their clients, mostly professionals who don't have the time or patience for meet-markets, a confidential service that doesn't use videos or Internet dating.

The introductions are handpicked and based on their well-screened clients needs. Not everyone who walks through the Meet A Mate doors becomes a client. The Singers are very selective about who they take on.

They look for men and women who are mentally, physically, emotionally and financially stable. Above all, say Eva and Sherry, Meet A Mate is a place where nice people finish first.

The matchmakers are amazingly insightful and talented at the art of matchmaking. They have an intuitive sense when it comes to looking for soul mates. Their goal is to establish a personal relationship with each individual client; this way the Singers can fine-tune the selection process. Eva and Sherry like to think of themselves as friends for hire. They go to unusual lengths to help their clients, often looking to break patterns in a client's habits, to create a better candidate for marriage.'People often sabotage potential relationships through a variety of missteps: not calling the day after the date, obsessing about past relationships or trying to change their partner,' they say.

Eva and Sherry can't guarantee love, chemistry or destiny, but they will do what ever it takes to find a suitable mate for every one of their members. Expect to spend at least two hours interviewing with the Singers before becoming a member with Meet A Mate.

Clients often recommend their friends and even other family members to Meet A Mate. In fact, Eva and Sherry married off three generations from one family. Most importantly, they would like to dance at your wedding!

The Singers have been profiled in newspapers and magazines, most recently in the Los Angeles Business Journal. Sherry has been a radio host for the former KRLA, where she had an in-depth show giving advice to the lovelorn. She has also been a guest host on Conway and Steckler for 97.1 'The FM Talk Station,' and most recently appeared on KFI 640 with Rabbi Mentz. The ladies have been involved with two documentaries that aired on The Learning Channel: 'The Mysteries of Mating' and 'A Personal Story.' They have been featured on several syndicated television programs including 'Life Moments.' Sherry also lectures at various venues including Pepperdine University, The Museum of Tolerance, and is currently writing her first book Connections.
